“I enjoyed most of the game. The demo was a very strong part of it but the rest was awesome. Each boss battle felt unique and felt majesticilly glorious.”

The opening demo is clearly the game's peak with the rest falling below that standard.

Remedy should prioritize artistic vision over commercial decisions despite being a successful studio.

That’s kinda the exact point I’m making. I’d rather decisions in art being more what the artist wants for their work and less what’s going to make the most money. Obviously any large scale project being sold for money is going to land somewhere in the middle (and obviously the teams making the games deserve to be paid fairly for their…

Ha no I’m on your side. I was commenting on the fact that he is probably one of those review bombing type gamers that hates things because narrative choices don’t align with their small world view. Reddit flagged a word I used to describe one of the characters but it was in no way derogatory. I’m being very careful what words I use here because I…

I enjoyed most of the game. The demo was a very strong part of it but the rest was awesome. Each boss battle felt unique and felt majesticilly glorious with the music and designs. I can understand some people not being into it, but calling it a bad game is just disingenuous. It was different from the usual ff game which I appreciated

Advertising and brand recognition make a huge difference. I only heard about this game 2 days ago. Not ideal for the average consumer.

Your good. I probably look dumber but I might as well leave it and let others see my stupidity lol

I don't remember much myself but I didn't agree with him. I think a lot of these "haters" just want to be right and don't realize how stupid their hate makes them look
-
I didn't actually watch the SkillUp review for 16 so I'm not sure what his conclusion was, but I wouldn't call it a bad game. I'd just give it a 7/10 with a 10/10 introduction.

It's a valid complaint, you can disagree if you want but that doesn't change anything.

Looking at how much promotion they’ve been doing for this game, the amount of hype it’s been getting, how fairly successful Alan wake 2 was, and the fact that Control is their best selling game, I wouldn’t be surprised if this becomes their new best selling game
