Naftogaz secures Polish energy deals
During the same Carpathian 8 Summit, Naftogaz signed two memoranda with Polish energy company Orlen: one for LNG shipments in Q1 2027, and another between Orlen and Naftogaz subsidiary Ukrnafta for oil product supplies worth over $500 million.

In this specific cases MOL went behind Magyar's back and proposed the energy storage plan to Ukraine without even notifying the Hungarian government beforehand.
