When I first used to go out to eat with my parents, all I really wanted was chips and salsa. It was complimentary, but if you wanted your own, there was a charge of 65 cents. I've been to places in Austin and Seattle recently who wanted $10 for chips and salsa... ridiculous.

"Salsa Blanco" around here. That stuff is sooooooo good, I'll order an 8oz cup to take home and eat on chips all week 😅 Supposedly, this item started in Virginia Beach and it's spreading out. Not everyone does it 😔 If I don't know, I'm calling ahead!

Baby-sat my neighbors cat for a week and she gifted me a box of Sees candy....which was devoured by me, and me alone, in less than 20 minutes. Felt gloriously sick after that for about 2 hours.

I don’t need a restaurant for that. I remember when every Mexican restaurant I ever went to (in CA) put free chips & salsa on the table w/refills. If a restaurant didn’t have quality salsa, you never returned. Now everyone charges. In NYC they’ll charge you $17 for chips and salsa, it’s insane.
