Center for Biological Diversity vows to keep fighting swap
Spokesperson Laiken Jordahl said the group and allied tribal organizations will continue their legal challenge even as the land exchange proceeds, warning that bulldozers could arrive within a week.

It's sad that the original swap deal was 400+ acres including Mara Larga and over a mile of beach for 40-50 acres around SpaceX, most of which was isolated plots from the old Kennedy Shores development. That got torpedoed and now the state is swapping 700+ acres for the same piece of land. Talk about snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

They land they are acquiring is right next to their pads, they land they're trading is far a way from their pads. They want the land next to their pad for more launch facilities to increase the launch rate.
