I imagine if you present a fake id of any kind to a cop you’re going to always find yourself under arrest and have anything on you held while you’re in custody. Same situation as a fake physical id. Would be weird for you to have someone else’s phone unlocked and presenting it to a cop though…

At airports, it's the same logic, the officer never touches your phone, you just tap the NFC/QR symbol on their kiosk to start a Bluetooth connection with the kiosk and share the information that way.
