Ahhhh well no that is purely my speculation. I knew about the part I initially put in the spoiler, that a certain person will be in the movie, but I didn't know anything else. Seeing the thing in the trailer though, I figured the ideas I had pieced together might have been on the right track, but the trailer itself is telling me otherwise.

And reframing the same situation with some lighting, setting, annunciation changes can make a funny situation much darker pretty quick. I think thats why so many new horror directors were comedians beforehand.
