    Poll points to centre-left coalition as only viable government path

    With Lib Dems on 71 seats, SNP on 40, Plaid Cymru on 15, and Greens on 9, the only route to a governing majority would be Labour leading a coalition or confidence-and-supply arrangement with centre-left and nationalist parties. The Conservatives and Reform have both ruled out working together.
