   Ground reality contradicts ceasefire: Israeli shelling, demolitions continue

   As Salam spoke at the UN, Israeli forces conducted large explosions near Taybeh and Deir Siryan, and airstrikes between Froun and Ghandourieh. Al Jazeera correspondent Zeina Khodr reported that Israeli warplanes, drones, and artillery remain active, with Israeli forces demolishing homes in occupied towns despite the framework agreement. Since March 2, Israeli attacks have killed 4,386 people and wounded 12,407, with Israeli forces occupying up to 600 sq km of Lebanese territory.

   At the UN General Assembly, Salam called for an end to Israeli occupation of southern Lebanon, full enforcement of the ceasefire, and release of Lebanese detainees.    Salam meets Pezeshkian, demands non-interference
