   Don says he may have to let gardeners go without finding new income

   Don stated he cannot afford to keep the two gardeners without the BBC's contribution and would need to find ways to earn money from the garden. He ruled out opening it to the public, citing privacy concerns and parking difficulties, but said he could not pursue alternative income until mid-2025 at the earliest.

   “I can't afford it unless we earn money from it, so I am going to think of ways of earning something from the garden, but I can't do that until the middle of next year at the earliest.”
