That's not correct. My mother receives state pension & attendance allowance and has no savings. She has to pay the first £180 per week for social care. Anything over £180 per week is paid for by the council. She receives about 7 hours of social care which comes to around £160 per week, all paid for by her.

Of course, but look what happened to Starmer when he tried slightly means testing the tiniest pensioner benefit. It'll never happen, they'll just burn down any government that doesn't give them ever increasing amounts of free stuff.
