Scavengers feed on carcass over four days as survivor carries remains

The surviving caribou fended off bears and wolves while foxes, golden eagles, and ravens fed on the carcass over four days. Eventually only the head and antlers remained attached to the living caribou before it disappeared.

“The surviving caribou fended off bears and wolves, and over 4 days, fox, golden eagles, and ravens feasted on the carcass, until all that was left attached to the survivor was the head and antlers, then the caribou wandered off and disappeared.”
