    AFP identifies 36 Afghans and two Sudanese suspects aboard

    Further reporting citing AFP established that all 38 people on the boat were men: 36 from Afghanistan and two from Sudan, the latter arrested on suspicion of people smuggling. Those rescued were checked for hypothermia and taken elsewhere while their nationalities and migration status are investigated.
