Bloomberg Politics reports that voters are facing gas prices above $4 a gallon for the first time on an Election Day, calling it a milestone in an energy crisis that has become central to the midterm elections.

“Americans driving to the polls will pay gas prices averaging over $4 a gallon for the first time on record on an election day, the latest milestone in an energy crisis that has taken center stage in the US midterms.”

Years ago domestic manufacturers were resting on their laurels and the first wave of foreign automakers came through and ate their lunch until they got their shit together. Now they seem determined to cut that off before they can be forced to compete again…

    • The presidents war against Iran is the entire reason fuel prices are so high. His tarriffs and these war induced fuel prices are almost the entirety of our inflation. Plenty of "fuck shit up" levers indeed!
