    • Yeah. Plus, taking out humanitarian aid distribution kills who knows how many civilians. Sorry, I was being misleading, too, I shouldn’t have been fake-confused. The whole thing is sickening and I wish people would report on the invasion honestly because we all know most people aren’t going to read past the headline.

Zelensky ties attack timing to US elections, urges air defense help

Zelensky said the timing of the barrage on US election day was a deliberate signal from Russia and appealed for more Western help defending Ukrainian skies.

“It is very telling that all of this is happening on the day of the US congressional elections. The Russians believe that America will not notice this signal from them. But such terror must be noticed and stopped.”

UN monitoring mission says strike may violate humanitarian law

The UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine said the attack hit as civilians gathered for a well-publicized aid distribution, raising the possibility Russian forces knew or failed to check who was present.

“Either the Russian armed forces knew that there was a humanitarian distribution taking place, or they failed to take the most basic steps to find out what was happening in this village they were planning to attack.”
