I think another studio is working on the Greek remakes, so we should get them within the next 3 years. But as for the next mainline GoW game? That could be 5+ years away.

As long as the next GOW game isn’t 3+ years out and they’ve still actively been working on it to release sometime in the near future I’m fine with it although I’d prefer to be back to Kratos and Atreus story sooner

Sure, you can do that as a player. Do developers really want to go back and remake the same thing though? I mean, Naughty Dog went from Crash Bandicoot, to Jax, then Uncharted and The Last of Us. The developer's own experience shapes what games they create.

That's because it looks like shit. GoW 2018 and Ragnarok aren't particularly awesome either. Not every series needs a reinvention or broader characters. Kratos is just dumb fun beat em up action.
