  Yes but as a first strike weapon the launch would be invisible. So if you were going to use it in a nuclear first strike it would be useful even if people knew it was there. Yet another reason I'm glad we havent launched these (or have we, under the guise of yet another spy sattelite?)

  There was a good book that had a colony on the moon rebel and their most effective weapon against earth was filling cargo ships up with space rocks and dump them into earth’s atmosphere to slam into population centers. KEW’s in space have a lot of potential.
