Intel posted a stronger-than-expected quarterly profit but gave fourth-quarter guidance far below analyst expectations, citing a continuing PC slowdown; PC revenue fell 5% year over year to $8.1 billion, below forecasts, and shares plunged roughly 20% in after-hours trading.
“Looking ahead, we see the PC slowdown continuing at least through the first half of next year”

INTEL JUST GOT SMOKED AFTER EARNINGS. $INTC plunged roughly 20% after hours after its PC business badly missed expectations and fourth-quarter guidance came in weaker than Wall Street wanted. PC revenue fell 5% year over year to $8.1B, below expectations of about $8.9B. Intel

Priced for perfection? GOOG has a forward PE of 15.62 and a PEG ratio of 0.92. CapEx spending is not permanent, it can be stopped whenever they want but they don't do it because they see it being beneficial. The only time CapEx should hurt the stock is when the CapEx wasn't expected, or was necessary for the business. CapEx for fun, because you…

TSMC envies Intel. No matter how many setbacks Intel faces, they always have a rich American daddy backing them up and providing a safety net. Meanwhile, TSMC grew up on a poor island back in the day. When they hit rock bottom and asked their biological father for help, Taiwan's dad basically said, 'We're broke,' while their psycho neighbor from…

I disagree, I think Amazon’s numbers are actually still quite strong. All three segments are showing strong YoY growth across aws, ads, and retail. Of course free cash flow doesn’t look good and interest expense now outweighs interest income (Q2 was something like -25 or -30B) significantly to -500M. Once the backlog starts coming to fruition this…

I mean the question is if Intel was overvalued at 90-95, or if its just a bearish market right now dropping it to the 70s. I unfortunately bought more shares at 93 on INTC thinking that with the already decent dip from AH, they will steady there or at 90, and then start pulling upwards lol. So where do you think Intel should be valued then?
-
On a positive note at least AWS beat the expectations. But yeah after the recent earnings it seems the market will likely consolidate tech for while. Which to be honest is a great buying opportunity in high quality stocks which have dropped or moved sideways while their earnings keep on shooting higher.

Intel foundry is still below 50% utilization, they just don't have customers. If they went on with the investment they'd be even more fucked. One of the reasons for the chip shortage is intel buying so much EUVs but being unable to produce anything with it. Every EUV intel buys is one less for tsmc.

Annnd it’s only starting to show up in the income statement. Amazon's interest expense was $1.69bn in Q3, up from $0.54bn a year ago, after long-term debt went from $65.6bn at the end of 2025 to $173.1bn. Still small next to $28.1bn of operating income, but it tripled in a year.
-
It’s a wide gap too… Microsoft produced about $18.6bn of free cash in its September quarter. Alphabet was about negative $9.1bn and Amazon about negative $33.5bn. Amazon's capex was a huuuge $77.3bn in Q3, more than double the $35.1bn a year earlier.

What? None of what you said makes sense. What did you even Google add an "issue" that's impossible to fix? And even then, a huge amount of users literally just need a web browser because that's basically all they do on a computer anyway.
-
Intel has also missed the ai play. Arc series graphics are probably the closest to it. Shame because they were doing a fab buildout, only to stop because shareholders were unhappy. We need solid fabrication more now than ever.
-
Didn’t these same analyst say last time with cash flow being a problem something along the line “future guidance is strong, AI demand is strong, future growth”? All these market crashing is all noise and bullshit
-
If large investments yielded positive cash flow the same year they were made there would be no business moat to be had there. This fear is creating a strong long term opportunity for patient investors.
-
the fed isn't the reason computers are massively expensive right now while orange man isn't directly responsible he has certainly encouraged and is profiting personally from the ai buildout

"What this model shows is the music so to speak, just slowing. If the music were to stop, it would be considerably worse" "I’m standing here tonight and I don’t hear a thing"

Intel seems to be in a tough spot. Even if demand picks up eventually, it still has to deal with manufacturing constraints and the huge cost of expanding production.
-
From the gaming community....... Well no shit. RAM prices are so expensive along with GPU's we are running on rigs from 2020. Windows 11 still sucks.
-
That one. The one purchased under conservatives that claimed they believed in small government and no socialism.
-
Thank you. Idiots calling this price perfection just shows the market do not understand valuation
-
Mate I am getting sick of all these chip/memory/storage/AI companies. Just shut the fck off.
-
Yes, they're also up 122% for the last year, so i'd say they're actually doing a good job.
-
Imagine making chips during a massive chip shortage and losing money. Could only be intel
