Animal abandonment is morally wrong and those responsible deserve harsh judgment.

The kittens' behavior—willingly jumping into the boat—shows they were desperate and desocialized to humans.

People who dump helpless little animals are the worst. Yay for these guys. Considering how cats don’t like water those kittens had to be desperate.

Cats can swim and even fish if they live in the wild near water (but yeah those kittens clearly were abandoned)
-
The cats weren't skittish at all either, they'd been socialized.
-
It's real. And 10 years old. There was a follow up on Reddit with pictures. The kittens were adopted and named River and Warrior

The length of hair on their coats reminds me of the hair on Turkish Van cats. those cats actually like water💕 I wonder if these two still like getting their feet wet? 💕

My daughter went to visit a nearby wooded area where she had spotted a feral cat. Didn't see that particular cat that day, but instead she saw three kittens come toward her, and the one in the lead was walking on his hind legs! She adopted two and her friend adopted the third.

Those kitties now have a good life thanks to those knights in shining armor (or, in this case, shining metal boat).

blessed are the people who rescue animals cursed are those who abandon them
-
Yeah, straight to shore to look for more and stop them from having to swim so far..there's probably alligators in that water!😲
-
I loved the natural way he reached for them and petted them. He's had cats and he loves them. Good man.

You know those babies were so happy to see help arrive they didn’t even wait. They just jumped in! I’m glad they were found.

I absolutely would name them after types of fish, like Karp and Trout or something like that
