I grew up in Iowa (which, btw was early in welcoming same sex marriage, back when I was proud of my state . . .) and Trump’s first term DESTROYED soy bean farmers - and they voted for him AGAIN

I live in Ohio. Rural voters control this state. They vote FOR anything and everything that screws over city dwellars. It's the Buckeye Method of owning the libs. If you are a progressive/ liberal person.... avoid this place.

My rural Iowa county has a population of 7,200, with about 2,400 registered Republican and 1,200 Democrats. The best we can hope for is that those who would normally vote Republican stay home and that those who are pissed off will get up and vote.
