Looks yummy. I made a peach and mango pie. The more pie we make the prettier they will get. But I bet it's truly delicious!

You did great. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, they say. My stomach is saying we’ve got a beauty here let’s dig in. 👍😋

It's gorgeous. I'll bring the ice cream and cheddar cheese to have side options. Man, now I need an apple pie for real

If you got the taste right, you can master the pie dough with more pies. Pretty is in the eye of the beholder, but mouthwatering is the goal. 👍

My mom accidentally made a chocolate cake for my sister’s birthday where the pan twisted during baking. We filled in the wonky bits with icing so some kids had 50/50 icing:cake 😂

My grandmother used to say if we wanted something that looked pretty for desert, there was a bakery a few blocks away. But if we wanted something that tasted good we should wash our hands, mind our manners, and eat what she had baked. Her baking was always amazing, if occasionally uneven looking.

Cooking for yourself is a learning journey. Most people find it really hard at first, but each time gets better. When you have learned the basics, you can start inventing changes and making it truly your own.

Lattice tops are hell. I just go with a full top w/ some nice patterns from a knife to release steam. But kudos to you for trying. And taste is always the most important criterion.
